On 31 July in Rome at 11.00 am at the headquarters of the UNAR – National Racial Anti-Discrimination Office of the Prime Minister – Largo Chigi 19, the protocol of understanding will be signed for the birth of the National Observatory against discrimination in sport, a body equipped with adequate tools to monitor and provide a precise analysis on discrimination in the sports field, in particular on the amateur and amateur ones.
The memorandum of understanding will be signed by the Director of Unar Triantafillos Loukarelis, by the President of Uisp (Italian Sports Union for All) Vincenzo Manco and by the Vice President of the Lunaria Duccio Zola association. Also present in videoconferencing Beatrice Ion, Paralympic athlete of the women’s basketball national team, attacked in the past days with threats and racist insults.
For the occasion, the Observatory logo will also be presented, conceived and created by the UNAR communication area. The meeting will be broadcast live on the national Facebook pages of UNAR and UISP. Fonte: Governo.it
